Discover Africa in Cameroon’s sandy beaches, explore active volcanoes, and play your part either on-site or online in the fruition of REWAC’s vision: “To bring about the autonomy and sustainable livelihood of Refugees”.

On-site volunteers receive pre-departure assistance, airport pick up and drop off, on-site orientation, 3 meals per day, hotel or apartment accommodation with private bathroom, hot water shower, fan, and Wifi. During your 3-6 month on-site placement with REWAC, you will experience the power of inter-cultural exchange – working with local and international volunteers, the indigenous ethnic ‘Baka’ group and our community of migrants from over 26 countries. Help REWAC combat the refugee crisis by promoting welfare programs and legal support, and delivering life-changing aid.

Online volunteers are tasked with managing REWAC’s online presence and creating impactful stories to attract supporters and donors. Volunteers may also assist in identifying possible beneficiaries in the local community who are in need of financial assistance, and developing fundraising proposals to support their needs. No professional experience is needed, but if you consider yourself savvy in communication, research, photography, or social media, then you could be a perfect fit!

It may be possible to receive college credit for the volunteer placement and it can also be pursued as an internship. Please inquire to learn more about how to set up a for-credit placement.
